Pit your skills against the mighty rapids with a group of friends, for a wild, wet and wicked ride over turbulent rapids.

You'll begin with a full safety briefing before an experienced rafting guide takes you for a fun series of rides down some of the best man-made white water. Enjoy the ride of your life as you and your crew steer an inflatable raft through the breath-taking twists, turns and drops of this demanding but enjoyable run. All safety equipment and tuition is included.

Vital Information
Minimum age 14 and maximum weight 16 stone. You do not have to be able to swim, just be confident and around water wearing a floatation aid. Please advise us in advance of any disabilities.

We will advise you to contact the centre a few days before your booked date, if appropriate, to double-check water levels. You may be expected to jump from the raft into still practice waters as part of your initial training session. Dates from the supplier will be available from March.

The Weather
Rafting operates in most conditions but may be affected by extreme weather conditions or flooding.

Session Length
Your experience will last for around two hours from initial introduction to debrief. Please ensure that you arrive 30 minutes prior to your start time to sign in and change.

Numbers
Your raft holds your group of six people plus a qualified instructor.

Spectators
Spectators are welcome.

Dress Code
Bring swimwear, a towel, a pair of old trainers and a change of clothes. You WILL get wet. Buoyancy aid and helmet will be supplied. If you wear glasses, remove them or firmly secure them.

Availability
Selected Friday, Saturday and Sundays between March and October, subject to availability and water levels. We recommend booking six to eight weeks in advance.
